Squirrels

What are squirrels?

Squirrels are nimble, bushy-tailed rodents and despite their cute and furry appearance, squirrels can actually cause significant structural damage to properties. They frequently venture onto properties in search of fruits and nuts and dig holes and eat plants.

Where are squirrels found?

Squirrels can enter homes for protection, to hide their food and to build nests. They gain access to attics by using existing openings like uncapped chimneys or gnawing entrance holes under eaves. Once inside, they can chew wood and electrical wiring and damage insulation by creating nests.
