Mice
What are mice?
Mice are small rodents with big ears and long tails. They can run really fast and squeeze through tiny gaps or holes. Mice reproduce rapidly and small populations can become full-blown infestations in very little time. Mice are curious, resourceful and they gnaw on wood, wires and other rough materials.
Mice are capable of transmitting a variety of bacteria, viruses and diseases through their saliva, feces and urine.
Where are mice found?
Mice nest in any safe location close to food, preferring spaces in double walls, above ceilings, underneath floors and behind appliances.
Scratching sounds in the walls, signs of gnawing or chewing, rub marks around holes, damaged food packages, signs of droppings are common indicators of the presence of mice. Mice can squeeze through tiny holes as narrow as a pencil.
What do I do if I have mice?
Mice breed and spread quickly with a gestation period of only three weeks.
